I woke up in a bit of panic today, feeling like I should be further along than I am in my career. The struggle to make art and also make money in NYC is nothing new, but it doesn’t make it any easier while you are in the thick of it. Thankfully I have a good group of peers that gave me some advice and perspective. I decided to take the afternoon to shoot polaroids of things I normally wouldn’t photograph. Just being outside, cool breeze off the river and making photos set me at ease. Anyway, I’m sure none of you care about shit like this, but a bad day turned out pretty great due to photography and I’m pretty ok with that.
